History has told the tale of mankind, the death of the sun, the struggle for world power, and the dawning of a new age, the age of the SPYNN.

Kimo is no different from any other man on reaching his twenties in the service of the Academy. He longs for the chance to pilot the SPYNN, to fuel the world in the darkness of a dying sun. His rise to the top is marred by his confidence, destroyed by his father’s attack so long ago and as his life begins to tumble out of control he receives a message exposing the lies that he had formerly embraced as the truth, inspiring him to seek out the evil sect he was taught to fear, to find the ones known simply as Dark Hour.

Following a bizarre sequence of events, he manages to steal a prototype ship known as the Reverie whilst somehow evading capture, and races into the future with an angry and reluctant crew. Yet with time they learn to trust in him, sharing the adventure on the road to discovery, fighting through deceit and betrayal whilst desperately trying to uncover the truth of the past; a truth that will end the life that they once knew and shape the future of mankind.
